Swiss QR bills are the successor to Swiss payment slips (ESR/ISR). They make it easy to pay invoices and enable semi-automatic reconciliation of payments in our billing system.
Once the Swiss QR bill is set up, your PDF invoices automatically get a QR payment part. Your customers scan the QR code with their banking app, which fills in the amount, account and reference for them.
CH or LI).
Use your regular IBAN, not a QR-IBAN. keinaufwand creates QR bills with a reference that starts with RF, and this reference can only be used with a regular IBAN.
That's why a QR-IBAN can't be saved. If your account still has a QR-IBAN saved earlier, your invoices get neither a QR payment part nor your bank details in the footer until you replace it with your regular IBAN in the Invoices settings.
Invoices in USD or GBP, and invoices with an IBAN from another country, show your bank details in the footer instead of the QR payment part.
PDF invoices will now automatically include the Swiss QR code.
The QR payment part is at the bottom of the last page of the PDF invoice, separated by the note Separate before paying in. If there isn't enough space, it starts on a new page. It consists of the Receipt and the Payment part with:
The payer only appears on the QR payment part if the name, postal code, town and country are present. If any of them is missing, the receipt and the payment part show Payable by (name/address) with an empty field with corner marks, where the payer writes in their name and address by hand.
An invoice that is paid in full no longer has a QR payment part.
Since every payment includes the invoice's reference, you can import the payments from your bank's statements (camt.053 / camt.054) and match them to the right invoices automatically. To learn how, see the guide Payments.
