Billing

The keinaufwand billing system helps clubs and businesses send invoices and record incoming payments.

From the admin panel, you'll find it in the Payments section with the All payments, Invoices and Subscriptions views. You manage discounts and tax rates in the Offers section, and bank details, due dates and payment reminders under Settings > Invoices.

What gets billed

• Subscriptions: Memberships and other recurring contracts. keinaufwand automatically creates an invoice for each term and sends it by email.
• Event registrations: An invoice is created automatically for every registration for a paid event.

Invoices are always created from a subscription or an event registration. You can't create standalone invoices by hand. Individual appointment bookings aren't billed through the billing system.

Currencies

Prices and invoices can be in CHF, EUR, USD or GBP. An invoice's currency comes from the price of the offer or event. All offer prices in a subscription must have the same currency.

Payment methods

• Online payment with Stripe: For event registrations, customers can pay online right away. The payment is recorded automatically. You need a Stripe account for this.
• Bank transfer: If you add your IBAN, your PDF invoices include your bank details. With a Swiss or Liechtenstein bank account, invoices in CHF and EUR get a Swiss QR bill, and you can import their payments from your bank statement.
• Cash or on site: You record payments received outside of keinaufwand by hand on the invoice.
