Who takes care of your data
Codegestalt GmbH in Liestal operates keinaufwand. We are responsible for our website, your registration, our contractual relationship and support requests.
Your business remains responsible for its customer, member and booking data. We provide you with the software and process this data on your behalf.
What information we receive
When you create an account and use keinaufwand, we receive your contact and business details as well as information about your subscription and its billing. This also includes the content you and your team manage – for example customer data, memberships, appointments, bookings, invoices, messages and files.
Our website also processes technical information such as your IP address, time of access, pages visited and browser information. When you send a support request, we receive the information you share with us.
What we use this data for
We need this information so you can use keinaufwand – for example to give you access, manage bookings, create invoices and send confirmations or reminders. It also helps us answer inquiries, fix problems and prevent misuse.
Where the GDPR applies, we base this processing on the performance of a contract, legal obligations or our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service. Where consent is required, consent forms the legal basis.
Which services support us
We use infrastructure providers for operations and storage; uploaded files are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Postmark sends emails, Twilio handles text messages and Stripe processes subscription payments as well as online payments handled through Stripe. Cloudflare Turnstile helps block automated sign-ups. These services receive the data they need for their task.
If you connect an external calendar, we exchange the data required for synchronization with the provider you choose, such as Google or Microsoft. You decide what content you publish on the website you create with keinaufwand.
We use Google services to determine locations from addresses.
When external services are involved, data may also be processed outside Switzerland, in particular in the USA. You can get information about the services we use and about the safeguards for transfers abroad from our privacy contact.
Cookies and website analytics
Technically necessary cookies keep you signed in, for example. If you block cookies in your browser, some features may be limited.
We use Fathom Analytics for statistics on our public website. We measure page views, traffic sources, clicks on the trial sign-up and new registrations so we can improve our website. Fathom does not use tracking cookies for this and does not build advertising profiles across websites. Technical information such as IP address and browser information is processed briefly to distinguish visitors for website statistics. Our analytics events do not contain names, email addresses, or customer or account data.
How long we keep data
How long we retain data depends on what it is needed for. Contract and billing records may be subject to statutory retention obligations. For your business's data, we take into account your instructions and the obligations that apply to that data.
When we receive a deletion request, we check which data can be deleted and which we still have to retain. To protect data, we use measures such as encrypted transmission and access restrictions.
What you can request
You can ask us which data we store about you and have incorrect information corrected. Depending on the applicable law, you can also request deletion, a copy of your data or restriction of processing, object to processing or withdraw consent for the future.
To do so, write to us at the address below. If your customers or members contact you with a request about their data, we will support you in handling it.
