Understanding events

Events are courses and occasions that take place once or several times. For example:

• Beginner courses
• Weekend seminars
• Exams
• Training camps
• Information sessions
• Training programs
• and much more

Events consist of three different components: events, event listings, and registrations.

To publish and list an event, you first create an event with information about the offer and content of the event. You can then list the event with a location and date. Interested participants can then register through the event listing.

For example:

• Event: Karate beginner course
• Event listing: October 14 in Basel

Events can be listed multiple times. This means that if you run the same course or occasion again at a later date, you can publish and list the same event again with a second event listing.

Online event registration form

Our online event registration form lets you receive registrations directly in your keinaufwand account. Every event listing gets a linkable URL that you can link to from your own website or from platforms like Facebook. For accounts with a keinaufwand website, the registration forms are linked automatically.

We currently support the following payment methods:

• Pay on site As the name suggests, this requires the amount owed to be paid manually on site.
• Credit card You can set up credit card payments by connecting a Stripe account.
