Mark Bookings as Attended/Not Attended

Once an appointment is over, you can mark it as Attended or Not attended. You can also send a follow-up email in either case.

Leads who have signed up for a membership with you can be marked as customers.

Keeping the attendance and lead statuses up to date gives you more accurate information about how effective your bookings are.

Update the Attendance Status

To update a booking's attendance status, follow these steps:

  1. In the admin panel, click Bookings
  2. Click the booking number
  3. For the question "Was the booking attended?": Click the Attended or Not attended button
  4. Enable/disable the options to send a follow-up email or to mark the lead as a customer (attended only)
  5. Click the Mark as attended/not attended button to update the attendance status

You can find more information about follow-up emails here.

Record Multiple Attendances in Appointment Control

For a group class, you can update several attendance statuses at once:

  1. Open Appointment Control and choose the appointment you want.
  2. Select the people concerned using the checkboxes in the participant list. The checkbox in the table header selects all entries.
  3. Open Actions and choose Mark as attended or Mark as not attended.

The booking status (for example, Accepted) and the attendance status are kept separate. Setting the attendance status doesn't send a follow-up message on its own. There's a separate Send follow-up message action for that.

Update the Lead Status

This option is only available for attended bookings

To find out how effectively your leads turn into returning customers, you can mark bookings accordingly. Follow these steps:

  1. In the admin panel, click Bookings
  2. Click the booking number
  3. In the Lead section: Click the Mark as customer button

Was the booking attended, but the lead didn't become a customer? Send a follow-up email to the lead to maybe still win them over.
