From website visit to appointment request

No need to write first. Just pick an appointment.

Someone who has just discovered your offer should be able to take the next step right away. The form shows the bookable offers and times. You decide how visitors open it and what information you need for the first appointment – from the phone number to your own questions.

The right starting point

From the right offer to an open slot.

Instead of leaving a general message, prospective customers make a concrete choice. Depending on the booking type, the path leads through the person, location and offer to the appointment selection.

Present offers clearly
Name, description and duration help people choose. In the example, customers choose between a 60-minute initial consultation and a 45-minute follow-up consultation.
Start with a preselection
Link from an offer or location page straight to the right starting point. That way, visitors don't have to search again for the service they just read about.

The right details

Know what you need to know before the appointment.

Adapt the contact step to your process. That way, appointment requests arrive with the information you need to prepare and respond.

Reachable for follow-up questions
If you want to call people before their first visit, make the phone number a required field.
Comments the way you need them
Make questions and comments optional, require an entry or hide the field entirely. That keeps your form as short as possible and as detailed as necessary.
Contact settings with phone number enabled and optional questions and comments.

Your questions before the first visit

Not every offer needs the same information.

Add your own questions right in the booking form. A dog training school can ask for the dog's name, a yoga studio about previous experience and a consultant about the client's concern.

Free text or fixed choices
Use a single-line text field for short answers, a multi-line field for more detailed answers, or radio buttons to choose one answer from several options.
Decide what's required
For text fields, you decide whether an answer is required. Multiple-choice questions with radio buttons are always required – so you get a clear answer.
Put questions in the right order
Write the field labels yourself and arrange the fields in the order you want. The settings apply to the respective form.

Questions about the booking form

Does my website have to run on keinaufwand?

No. You can embed the form code in your existing website. The only requirement is that your website system allows you to add the provided JavaScript code.

Can I keep my own booking button?

Yes. In addition to the floating button, you can use your own links and buttons to open the form. The embedding guide explains the setting you need for this.

Can the form open a specific offer directly?

Yes. With a preselected offer or location, you guide visitors right where they need to go. This is helpful for individual service pages or campaigns, for example.

Are all requests confirmed immediately?

You decide how confirmation works. Depending on the setting, requests are confirmed automatically or handled by your team first. The page on confirmations and reminders explains the options.

Can I add my own questions to the booking form?

Yes. You can add single-line and multi-line text fields as well as multiple-choice questions with radio buttons. You decide on the labels, options and order. If you have a special requirement, get in touch at kontakt@keinaufwand.com – we'll find a solution together.

Which fields can I make required?

You can make the phone number and your own text fields required. Multiple-choice questions with radio buttons must always be answered. The questions and comments field can be set to optional, required or hidden.

Can I turn off the floating booking button?

Yes. Turn it off in the settings of the respective booking form and use your own buttons or links instead. You can also change the floating button's text and position there.

Can I find out how prospective customers heard about me?

Yes. In the general booking settings, add at least two marketing channels, for example referral, Instagram or flyer. The form will then ask where people heard about you. "Other" is added automatically for a custom answer.

How do I stop parents from booking for themselves instead of their child?

You can show a note for parents in the contact step so they enter their child's name. In the general booking settings, you decide up to what age the note appears.

Do the settings apply to all my forms?

You set the button, phone number, custom form fields and comments for each booking form individually. Global settings such as marketing channels and the note for parents are under Settings → Bookings.
