keinaufwand Migration in November

Back in June we announced that kampfsport.center would soon be renamed keinaufwand. After introducing individual offers and various smaller updates in September, the time has finally come next week: kampfsport.center becomes keinaufwand.

The most important thing first for existing customers: you don't have to do anything at all. After the migration, existing domains will automatically redirect to keinaufwand.com. Trial class forms, customer portals, websites and our admin panel will keep working just as before. The only thing that changes is our branding.

Migration window

Since kampfsport.center and keinaufwand.com have been running on two separate servers until now, we need to merge the two instances. To make the transition as smooth as possible, the migration will take place overnight from Tuesday, November 10, 11:00 PM to Wednesday, November 11, 1:00 AM. There may be brief interruptions during this time. Ideally, though, you won't notice a thing.

So what exactly changes?

New domains

After the migration, we're switching our main domain from kampfsport.center to keinaufwand.com. All old links will keep working as usual; you'll simply be redirected straight to keinaufwand.com. Embedded trial class forms and linked customer portals and event checkouts will keep working too. So there's nothing you need to adjust or change.

New branding

One thing is for sure: we're going to miss our martial arts mascots.

From the very beginning, though, our goal with rebranding kampfsport.center to keinaufwand was to reach a wider range of businesses and, in doing so, to be able to build better software. That's also why we needed a new logo that appeals to a broader audience.

Our platform has always aimed to simplify complex processes and save time and work along the way – either through automation or with simple but effective workflows. We tried to capture this mindset, both in theme and visually, in the new logo.
